Oh me, oh my is it a fun and daunting adventure being the wild spirit in my marriage. As I constantly harass him with my attempts to “save the world” he just smiles and shrugs his shoulders.
As much as I want to bring every animal from the shelter home, it’s not truly possible. My husband is the sound reasoning in our marriage. He guides me and shows me ways to make a difference without taking on the whole world in one bite. I care about the world my daughter will growing up in and inheriting. We can’t make it perfect but we’ll be trying.
My husband teaches me to logical and I teach him how to be a free spirit. If I was married to anyone else I don’t believe I’d be where I am today. I’d have run off on one of my whims determined, with no real plan. We’ve found a balance and sometimes the scales tip but we always manage. Most people want to be surround by people who think and act like them, I do not. I’d rather have people who think differently than me and can show me new perspectives. Surround yourself with people who are nothing like you and watch how much you grow. 🌿

Adulthood is a crazy ride that most of us are ill prepared for. If only we could have actually known a thing or two instead of thinking we know everything. *Face palm* I've put together a few things that I've come to learn with time.
